I have some great news for all of you Masakazu Katsura fans, DNA 2 is going
to be hitting the shelves of your favorite US video stores!
For those who have no idea just what DNA is all about here's a very quick summary:
Meet Junta, a guy who has the worst allergy in the world: WOMEN. Basically, whenever he gets aroused by a pretty woman, he starts to puke.
It kinda makes it hard for him to get a date or even look at a pretty girl..'s.. body. But then one day, this wierd chick from the future comes and announces that in the future there is a population problem caused by a Mega-playboy who was born in present times. And our dear, Karin Aoi, a promising DNA Operator has come to the past to neutralise well, the Megaplayboy's libido DNA. And guess who it turns out to be: our poor Junta. Well, the story gets a wee bit more complicated when the DNA bullet that Karin shoots Junta with makes his DNA unstable and he
randomly changes into the Mega-playboy, who no woman can say no to. Oh how we love the sparklies. *GRIN* You'll understand it when you see it.
All and all, this series is alot of fun to watch with friends, signifigant others, siblings and even by yourself. There is romantic comedy, lots of action, comedy, pretty girls, hunky guys, and lots of cool gadgets and sparklies! ;p This series was an instant hit with everyone at my College Anime Society and from what I hear lots of other anime societies and fans. I really enjoyed watching this series all the way through because it had an interesting storyline as well as character development and an interesting plot twist. I hope you'll give this one a look, this series was well worth the wait it took for it to be released in the US. Hopefully a publication company will release the manga as well!
